I recorded and produced this song in a professional 24-track studio way back in 1984 at Alvic Sound Studios in West Kensington in London. This song's about a woman called Alice who I had the very unfortunate experience of working with/alongside her in an advertising/new product development design agency. She was well known among other work colleagues as a real bitch and a very nasty, manipulative, shallow, spiteful, snobby, Tory, work-shy, talent-less, rumour spreading, back stabbing, jealous, two-faced gossip merchant who had the audacity to call herself an 'Art Director'. She had it in for me right from the start when I joined the company, because my boss thought I had a great deal of design talent. Where ever you are, thanks for the idea for this song. It was just a pressure release when I wrote and recoreded it, making me feel so much better! I pity anyone who has to put up with you in any working environment, or in any kind of relationship in any kind of circumstances.
