Is it a dynamic mic? Vocal is lacking depth, I think.
Quite a nice groove. The sample guitar is little repetitive, perhaps.
But yeah, good start.

yeah you need a nice mic, eq a bit brighter, less bass in vox, a bit of reverb and put the vocal level down a bit, sit it into the mix
